Yurts and Glamping in Lake District
Affordable luxury in a beautiful location. Inside out camping have six yurts on two campsites in the Borrowdale valley near Keswick.
All six Yurts are 16 foot in diameter, which will accommodate four on futton style beds. On both sites, toilets and cold water are a couple of minutes away, though it’s a longer walk for a hot shower at the respective farmhouses (5min for Seatoller, 10min at Hollows Farm).
It’s National Trust land – so no campfires, though each yurt has a BBQ. It’s the ideal place to come and stay with family or friends as you can wander by the River Derwent close to the site or walk straight out on to the fells. There’s cosy duvets and a wood burning stove to keep you comfy when needed.
We also have two Yurts a couple miles down the valley at Seatoller if you fancy somewhere a little closer to the big hills.
After a day discovering what the Lake District has to offer, you can unwind in front of the cosy wood burning stove and even enjoy a spot of star gazing through the central skylight.
