Camping and Caravanning in Pwllheli

Tyddyn Heilyn is an immaculately kept family run caravan park and is part of a working farm in the heart of the Lleyn peninsula.

The site accommodates privately owned holiday homes, touring caravan pitches and seasonal tourers with hook-ups and a camping field for tents with or without hook-ups.

We have toilet and shower facilities, on site laundry and washing facilities. Our site is ideally located for touring the villages and the mountains of Snowdonia, the many beautiful beaches or for visiting the castles and other attractions within a short driving distance.

Within a short walk is the renowned Lon Goed, six miles of peaceful and magnificent avenue of hardwood trees meandering through our stock rearing farmland, and also the river Dwyfor and Dwyfach for fishing.

Also close by is the Lon Eifion Cyclepath (which is part of the National Cycle Network Route 8). Lon Eifion is 12.5 miles long and is built on the old railway line between Bryncir and Caernarfon.

Pwllheli is the unofficial capital of The Llyn Peninsula, in Northwest Wales. Much of The Llyn Peninsula is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and Pwllheli is an ideal base to explore this area, as well as nearby Snowdonia, Anglesey and the western coast of Wales.

The impressive new marina is now one of the best in Wales, with 24 hour access and all the services boaters need. The marina berths over 400 boats and there is space for visitors to moor up overnight. The marina has brought many more boaters to Pwllheli and helped other aspects of tourism in the area.
